Welcome Week Check-In Tasks

In preparation for your Welcome Week Check-In day, there are some important tasks to ensure you are set up for success at PLNU. To check your progress on these tasks, open the myPLNU app or go to my.pointloma.edu and look for the Welcome Week Check-In widget.

Digital ID

Everyday tasks at PLNU such as getting into your Residence Hall, scanning into the cafeteria, and checking into Chapel can all be done from your smartphone via your Digital PLNU ID. To enroll your smartphone into a Digital PLNU ID, you must first upload a photo.

Workday Contact Information

In case of an emergency, we ask you to create a third party contact - a family member, guardian, or contact - that should be notified.

Mandatory Trainings

Title IX training is an important opportunity to ensure a safe and collaborative environment for all who attend PLNU. You received an email from TitleIX@pointloma.edu with instructions on how to access this course. Allow yourself an hour to complete the entire training.

Support Office Readiness

Verify your financial needs and health records are up-to-date.

• Consult Student Financial Services

  • Ensure you have paid all outstanding balances prior to your arrival. For any questions concerning your bill, contact the office of Undergraduate Student Financial Services.

• Complete PLNU Wellness Center Requirements

  • Go to the Wellness Center webpage to print out the Immunization Record and TB Screening Form. Once you have the forms completed by your healthcare provider, sign in to OneLogin. Select the “Point N Click” Patient Portal icon and upload your documents. Include a copy of the front and back of your medical insurance card. Finally, input the dates of your immunizations into “Point N Click.”
