Connecting a Windows Computer to an Apple TV using Airparrot

This article was written to detail how to connect to AirParrot using PLNU issued Windows computers. Airparrot is an app that acts as a stand in for Airplay on Windows computers. 

Connect a Windows computer to Airplay 

1.) Connect to PLNU-WiFi
2.) Download AirParrot

3.) Open the AirParrot app from the start menu
4.) Make sure to select Airplay Mode on podium Crestron screen
5.) Reference the information displayed on the TV
6.) Enter the Apple TV name in the "To" box within the Airparrot menu: [name].ptloma.edu 

• The [name] is specific to the Apple TV displayed on the screen (see screenshot below for an example)

7.) Enter the passcode displayed on the Apple TV

For previously connected devices

1.) Devices show up under the 'To' box
2.) To connect, click the classroom Apple TV name

3.) Enter the passcode displayed on the Apple TV
