OneLogin: Setup OneLogin Protect

Download the OneLogin Protect App

On iOS or Android device, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the OneLogin Protect app.
 

App Permissions Required for Full Functionality

• Allow push notifications in order for the app to function properly.
• Allow use of the device's camera for scanning a QR code during setup.

Pair the OneLogin Protect App with an Account:

1. On a computer, go to login.pointloma.edu and log in
2. Click the initials/name in the upper right corner of the page, then Profile
3. Click Security Factors on the left​​​​​​, then Add Factor, then OneLogin Protect, and finally, Activate
4. Open the previously installed OneLogin Protect app on the iOS or Android device
5. Tap the + plus sign in the right corner of the app
6. Using the app, scan the QR code from the computer screen

Recommended: Set Primary Security Factor

If more than one Security Factors are configured, this is how to choose which one will be used automatically.

1. On a computer, go to login.pointloma.edu and log in
2. Click the initials/name in the upper right corner of the page, then Profile
3. Click Security Factors on the left​​​​​​
4. Click Options to the right of the desired Security Factor
5. Click Set as primary
