PLNU ID Campus Accounts

Depending on what role you have at PLNU, you may have multiple different campus accounts you can use via your PLNU ID.

Meal Plans

If you are eligible for a meal plan, your PLNU ID allows you to use the meal plan you have chosen.  Meal plans are available to students. For more information, please contact Student Financial Service.

PBC Credit/Dining Dollars

Certain meal plans contain a set balance each semester that can be used to purchase food and drinks from the PBC, Bobby B's, and Breaker's Market. For more details on balance amounts, please contact Student Financial Service. Any unused PBC credit from the Fall semester will be carried over to the Spring Semester if a qualifying meal plan is maintained. All PBC credit expires at the end of the Spring semester.

SeaLion$

If you are eligible for a PLNU ID, you can use SeaLion$. SeaLion$ are a rechargeable declining balance account that can be used in the following locations:

  • The Point Loma Campus Bookstore
  • Breaker's Market in NIcholson Commons on the Point Loma Campus
  • Bobby B's Coffee Shop in Nicholson Commons on the Point Loma Campus
  • Point Break Cafe (the PBC) in Nicholson Commons on the Point Loma Campus
  • Paying for GrubHub mobile orders for Bobby B's Coffee Shop and the PBC
  • The Dining Hall on the Point Loma Campus
  • Paying for student printing at the Point Loma Campus Ryan Library Computer Labs
  • Paying for student printing at the Balboa, Mission Valley, and Liberty Station campuses
  • The fresh food vending machine at Liberty Station Conference Center. However, you will need a minimum balance of $10 between SeaLion$ and PBC Credit/Dining Dollars to use this feature.

Negative balances on SeaLion$

Normally SeaLion$ account holders are unable to incur a negative balance.  However, in rare circumstances, this may happen.  If this is the case, you will need to fund your SeaLion$ account to a positive balance before you can make any additional purchases. See this article for more details.

Student Printing Account

Every semester, PLNU gifts all current students with a $5.00 value on a non-rechargeable declining balance account.  This balance will be automatically used before SeaLion$ when paying for student printing.
